TRAVIS RICE
"First of all, I want to thank everyone at Illinois and the IRTC. Opportunities like this are not given out everyday and I will take full advantage of it. Being close to home, somewhere I feel comfortable, and around like-minded individuals is very important to me. The IRTC checks all those boxes and provides an environment where I can continue to develop as a wrestler. I look forward to reaching and setting new goals as an athlete and as a member of this program. I am extremely excited to get things rolling out here in Illinois." Travis Rice
"As a program, we are extremely excited to announce the addition of our first greco-roman wrestler. Travis is the perfect addition because not only will he approach the sport with professionalism but he will also help to build the culture that we want the IRTC to be known for. Travis is the perfect example of what is possible if you dedicate yourself to the sport of wrestling. A zero time state qualifier in high school turned world team member doesn't happen everyday and it definitely doesn't happen by accident. The countless hours of effort and hard work have started to pay off for him and we hope the IRTC will help him achieve his very lofty goal of world gold." Head IRTC Coach Bryan Medlin
